Hello, I'm Altug Karakurt

I'm an electrical engineer specializing in machine learning, scientific computing and web development. I am currently looking for job opportunities.

I'm completing my PhD at Electrical & Computer Engineering at University of Colorado Boulder in Summer 2026. My thesis focuses on large-scale scientific computing and network information theory. The common theme across my research has been cross-collaboration. I have worked with experts from various fields (from computational musicology, to social network analysis, to atmospheric research) and combined my computational and mathematical skills with their domain expertise to pursue novel quantitative insights and solutions.
