Personal Website

Written in Django with Wagtail CMS (content management system) to simplify maintenance. The front-end is TailwindCSS and I'm working on adding some bells and whistles using HTMX. It is free software and can be found here. The website is hosted on a barebones Ubuntu server using nginx.

After a long break from web development, I decided to use this as an excuse to re-learn everything I had forgotten and challenge myself by trying to make it look nice for a change. If you are also a back-end person that is intimidated by (or dismissive of) front-end, I highly recommend the TailwindCSS + HTMX stack to automate the tedious aspects and enjoy tackling the challenging parts.

Some features I'm currently working on

• adaptive light/dark mode
• streamlining deployment with containerization (Docker) and continuous integration (Jenkins)
• reviving the blog, which is fully implemented with tag and search support
